FitNesse.NET 1.7 Released

Published by gojko at 8:08 am under fitnesse,news

Mike Stockdale just released a new version of FitNesse.NET. The new features in this release mostly expand the domain adapter functionality, allowing programmers to map fixtures directly to domain objects and write less code. For more information, see release notes.

    Hi,

    I bought your book and found it to be very useful. It appears that there is a new configuration file option with as root element. Where do you need to place this configuration file?

    Hi Raghu,

    You are probably referring to the test suite configuration file. You configure the file location with

    !define COMMAND_PATTERN {%m -c mySuite.config %p}

    the default location is relative to the fitserver.exe; but you can put an absolute path as well.

    Hi Derek,

    Anyone who purchased and registered the book is entitled to free pdf updates when the book gets updated. The last update was on 18th of February. if you have purchased an earlier copy of the book, you should have received an e-mail at that time with download instructions for the PDF. If you cannot find that e-mail, let me know which e-mail address you used when registering your book and I’ll look it up for you.

    If you have not purchased the book before 18th of February, then you can buy the PDF from http://www.lulu.com/content/1653280.
