I have merged DbFit with fitnessedotnet release 1.7.1 and fitnesse (java) release 20080812. I will publish a new official release (1.1) in a few days.

My acceptance tests are running OK. If you are using DbFit at the moment, please take 10 minutes to test the latest beta version and let me know if you encounter any problems, so that I can fix any potential issues before the release. Download the betas from:

During the Agile 2008 conference, Mike Stockdale organised a mini-session where he and Rick Mugridge presented some new features and ideas that they are working on at the moment. The session led to a very interesting discussion on whether we could produce a variant of domain adapter/domain fixtures that allows FIT to connect directly to most domain services and objects without the need for any fixtures. Ivan Sanchez translated the FIT/FitNesse Fixture Gallery to Portugese. Translation of release 2.1 (2008-08-11) is now online:

• an executable FitNesse wiki
• a live web site

The official programme of Agile 2008 conference just ended. With about 2000 attendees, 400 presenters and about thirty concurrent sessions running at any given time, this was by far the largest software development conference I ever attended. Continue Reading »
